Primary Teacher (KS1-KS2)
Location: LS14, Seacroft
Daily Rate: £135 - £185 (Experience Dependent)
Diverse primary setting located in the LS14 area, who is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all their students. The school prides itself on its strong community ethos and commitment to providing high-quality education.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team, for the right teacher the year group can be adapted to their strengths. The ideal candidate will be experienced, adaptable, and confident in managing challenging behaviour. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic educator who thrives in a dynamic and diverse school setting, the school is accepting ECTs for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS1 and KS2.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and social development of all students.
- Confidently manage and support students with challenging behaviour, using a range of strategies to promote positive outcomes.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching practices and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary setting, specifically with KS1 and KS2.
- Strong classroom management skills, particularly in handling challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our students.
