Are you a passionate Year 2 Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and supportive primary school?
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly primary school in Clitheroe to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Class Teacher for a part-time job-share position starting on 2nd November 2026 until July 2027.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about creating engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences for young children.
You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' academic and personal development, and help create a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive. You will work collaboratively with your job-share partner and the wider school team to ensure continuity of learning and a positive experience for pupils.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has QTS and experience teaching Year 2 or within KS1
- Has a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Plans and delivers creative, engaging lessons
- Sets high expectations for behaviour and progress
- Adapts teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
- Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Works effectively as part of a team and is committed to pupil success
