Veritas Education are looking for Learning Mentors to work across Primary schools in Leeds.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with children and helping pupils who may need a little extra support to engage with school and learning.
You could be working 1:1 with pupils or supporting small groups throughout the school day.
The role may include:
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Supporting children with confidence and self-esteem
- Helping pupils engage with learning
- Running small group or 1:1 sessions
- Supporting pupils with social and emotional needs
- Helping children manage emotions and behaviour
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff
- Providing a consistent and positive presence in school
We'd love to hear from people with experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, support work, sports coaching or other roles supporting children and young people.
