Start Date: ASAP Roles: Daily supply, short‑term, and long‑term opportunities Settings: A range of secondary schools across Teesside
Due to increased demand from local secondary schools, Veritas Education are looking to expand our pool of confident, resilient, and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across Middlesbrough and the wider Teesside area.
These roles are ideal for anyone who enjoys the energy of a classroom and can confidently manage students while delivering pre‑planned work.
We're keen to speak with:
- Qualified Teachers seeking flexible or casual cover work
- Unqualified candidates who are confident, enthusiastic, and keen to gain school‑based experience
- Graduates considering teacher training
- Individuals with youth work, coaching, mentoring or classroom support backgrounds
If you can build rapport quickly, manage behaviour positively, and remain calm under pressure, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absence
- Deliver pre‑prepared work across a variety of subjects
- Maintain good behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
- Follow school policies and report back to department leads
- Work flexibly across multiple local secondary schools
