Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant Location: East London Start Date: January School Type: 2-Form Entry Primary School (OFSTED Good)
We are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming 2-form entry, OFSTED Good primary school in East London, starting in January.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning and make positive progress both academically and socially.
The Role:
Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, both 1:1 and in small groups
Support learning across the curriculum in and out of the classroom
Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual support plans
Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and support staff
The Ideal Candidate:
Has previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Confident supporting children with a range of additional needs
Patient, nurturing, and adaptable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
