Veritas Education Agency is currently recruiting an experienced and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a 2-form entry, Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school based in Newham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SEN TA who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is looking to join a high-performing, supportive school environment. The role is available for an immediate start (ASAP).
The Role:Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, either 1:1 or in small groups
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies
Assisting with learning, behaviour management, and emotional regulation
Helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)
Confidence supporting children with a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language)
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for working with children in a primary school setting
Availability to start immediately
Ofsted Outstanding primary school
2-form entry with excellent leadership and staff support
Well-resourced classrooms and strong SEN provision
Welcoming and inclusive school community
Competitive daily rate of £85-£130 per day, depending on experience
Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
