Location: LS2 Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Are you passionate about early years education and looking to make a real difference in children's lives? Do you want to be part of a dynamic, outdoor-focused nursery where no two days are the same? Look no further - this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!
Our thriving, private day nursery in LS2 is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. This unique role offers the chance to work in an inspiring, outdoor-based environment, where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow through nature and hands-on experiences.
Why Join Us?
Outdoor Focus: Our nursery takes full advantage of outdoor learning. You'll be part of a team that promotes exploration, creativity, and physical development through engaging, nature-based activities.
Leadership Opportunities: We are committed to nurturing talent and offering progression. This role is ideal for those looking to develop their leadership and management skills. There are plenty of opportunities for career advancement in a supportive and growth-focused environment.
Supportive Environment: Join a close-knit team where collaboration is key, and every member is valued. We provide ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development to help you succeed and grow in your role.
Competitive Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, with additional benefits, including a pension scheme, sick pay, and holiday allowance.
Work-life Balance: Enjoy a fulfilling career in early years education without compromising your personal life.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality educational activities, focusing on outdoor learning and play.
Create a safe, stimulating environment where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to explore.
Work closely with parents and carers, building strong, positive relationships and providing regular feedback on child development.
Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education, in line with EYFS guidelines.
Take an active role in promoting the nursery's values and ethos, ensuring that every child receives the best possible experience.
Who We're Looking For:
Passion for Outdoor Learning: A love for working outdoors and facilitating nature-based learning experiences for children.
Early Years Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent is essential. Additional training in Forest School or outdoor learning would be a huge advantage!
Experience: Previous experience working in an early years setting is preferred, but we welcome applications from passionate individuals eager to learn and grow.
Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
Ambitious: You're looking to progress within the field of early years education and take on leadership roles in the future.
Why This is a Unique Opportunity:

With the potential for career progression into management and leadership roles, this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to further their career in early years education.
Join a nursery where your input is valued and your passion for teaching young children is celebrated.
If you're ready to take the next step in your career and want to be part of a forward-thinking nursery that values creativity, leadership, and personal growth, we'd love to hear from you!
