About the Role
Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Unqualified Early Years Practitioners to join our supply team, supporting nurseries across Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a bubbly, confident candidate who thrives in busy early years environments and can quickly build strong relationships with staff and children.
You'll be stepping into settings to provide vital support, ensuring continuity of care and learning for children aged 0-5.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport nursery teams in delivering high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework
Step in to cover staffing gaps and staff sickness with confidence and professionalism
Engage children in play-based learning and developmental activities
Build fast, positive relationships with staff, children, and parents
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
ReQuirements
Experience working within an Early Years Education setting (nursery, preschool, or childcare)
Confidence working with children aged 0-5
Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, "get stuck in" attitude
Reliability, flexibility, and enthusiasm for supporting different settings
Passion for child development and early years learning
