About the Role: Veritas Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a daily supply basis across secondary schools in the Wakefield area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, support local schools, and make a positive impact on students' learning.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Previous experience working with young people (education or similar setting) is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine interest in education and supporting student development.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Availability for short-notice bookings.
