Are you confident managing a classroom of up to 30 students across Key Stage 3 and 4? We're seeking a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor or General Cover Teacher to support a high-performing secondary school in South Shields.
This is a temporary position to start immediately, ideal for someone with prior classroom experience who can maintain a calm, structured learning environment and deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience supervising or teaching KS3 and KS4 students
- Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Ability to follow lesson plans and ensure learning continues in the absence of the regular teacher
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students
- A valid DBS on the Update Service - or willingness to apply (we can assist)
