Are you looking for flexible, rewarding work within the education sector? Veritas Education is currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Kirklees and Wakefield during their busy exam periods.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are reliable, punctual, and passionate about supporting young people in achieving their academic goals. Whether you're an experienced invigilator or looking to gain experience in a school setting, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during exams in line with school and JCQ regulations
- Ensure a calm and supportive environment for all candidates
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
- Monitor exam timings and report any irregularities
- Assist with setting up exam rooms and seating plans
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- A professional and approachable manner
- Flexibility to work during exam periods (typically mornings and/or afternoons)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Veritas)

- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
- You must have legal right to work in the UK
