Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about working with young people? An excellent secondary school in Bexley is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team immediately after the October half term.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons to classes in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This is a key role in maintaining continuity of education and ensuring a positive learning environment across all subject areas.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences
Ensure students remain on task and engage with the lesson material
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
Report back to relevant teaching staff on student progress and conduct
Provide support to departments when not covering lessons
The Ideal Candidate

Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
Is confident managing behaviour in a classroom environment
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
