Veritas Education is looking to recruit confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across York. We have both full-time and part-time roles available, starting in October.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a flexible role.
The Role:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences using pre-set work
- Ensure students remain on task and follow school behaviour policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons
- Support the wider school team as needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people (in education, coaching, youth work, etc.)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A proactive and flexible approach

- Classroom Management. Behaviour Management. Experience with school systems such as SIMS and Arbor. Minimum 3 months experience in U.K schools.
