Veritas Education are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic IT Teacher for a full-time position at a well-regarded secondary school in Leeds. This role is set to begin in October 2025 and is initially a temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective ICT/Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students and contribute positively to a successful and supportive department.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in ICT/Computer Science
Support students across varying ability levels
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life
Requirements:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Subject specialism or teaching experience in ICT/Computer Science
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to student progress and safeguarding
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain through Veritas)
