Essential Requirements:
A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
A patient, caring, and resilient approach to working with children
The ability to work well as part of a team, supporting both pupils and teachers
Your Role Will Include:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering creative, engaging lessons
Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils with additional needs
Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assisting pupils with social, emotional, and communication development
Supporting with behaviour management using positive strategies
Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal growth in every child
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure pupils receive the best possible support
Contributing to enrichment activities and the wider school community
