Essential Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - applicants without QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or fewer than 5 years' experience as an unqualified teacher cannot be considered
Strong classroom practice, ideally within an SEN setting
Creativity, patience, and resilience to bring out the best in every child
A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Your Role Will Include:
Designing and delivering engaging, tailored lessons to meet diverse SEN needs
Creating a classroom culture that is safe, inclusive, and celebrates every achievement
Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies
Collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support both academic and personal growth
Monitoring and assessing progress, adapting teaching methods where needed
Promoting independence, social skills, and confidence in all learners
Contributing to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school
Leading with compassion while maintaining high expectations for every pupil
