About the Role:A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a warm and welcoming school in Burnley following a recent staff restructuring. The position is due to start in January 2025 and will run at least until Easter 2025, with a strong possibility of extending until the end of the summer term.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is passionate about Early Years education, to make a lasting impact on young learners during an exciting time of growth and change for the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons tailored to the needs of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Create a positive, nurturing learning environment where children feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
  • Work closely with a supportive team of staff, including other EYFS professionals, to ensure a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the school's community ethos and uphold the school's values.
  • Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching in EYFS or a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
