Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for the opportunity to lead a brand-new setting and make your mark from day one?
We're recruiting for a Nursery Manager to oversee the launch and development of an exciting new nursery opening in Meanwood, Leeds. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing, well-respected nursery group and play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming, high-quality environment for children, families, and staff.
From recruitment and team development to establishing the culture and setting standards, you'll be at the heart of the nursery's journey. You'll work closely with the owner and wider leadership team to ensure a successful opening and build a setting that becomes a valued part of the local community.
This is the ideal role for someone who is passionate about Early Years, enjoys leading and inspiring teams, and wants the chance to shape a nursery from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful opening and day-to-day management of the nursery
- Recruit, develop, and support a dedicated childcare team
- Ensure the nursery delivers outstanding care and education
- Maintain compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
- Create a positive, supportive culture for staff and families
- Drive occupancy and promote the nursery within the local area
- Work closely with the owner to achieve the nursery's vision and goals
What We're Looking For
- Previous Nursery Management experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing nursery teams
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A hands-on, supportive leadership style
- A passion for delivering exceptional childcare and education
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff, children, and parents
