Veritas Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Colne, Pendle, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Class Teacher for a full-time temporary position until December 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can create engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences while building positive relationships with pupils.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons
- Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum
- Set high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Adapt teaching to meet individual needs, including SEND
- Create a positive, stimulating and supportive classroom
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Support pupils' academic, social and personal development
We're Looking For
- Experience teaching Year 2 or across KS1
- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong classroom management skills
- An enthusiastic, organised and committed approach
- High expectations of all pupils
- The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
