£160-£220 per day
Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Maths Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a dedicated Pupil Referral Unit in Lewisham. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students aged 11-16 who require additional support to engage with education and achieve positive outcomes. As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons that inspire students to develop confidence in maths and reach their full potential. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning and succeed both academically and personally. What you'll be doing as a Maths Teacher:- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs, including SEMH and SEND requirements.
- Build positive relationships that promote engagement, attendance and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, families and external agencies to support student outcomes.
What we need from you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience within SEMH or PRU settings
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Available to start at short notice
