The Role
As a Teacher of Girls' PE, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to participate in sport and physical activity both within and beyond the curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to succeed.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Girls' PE within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for promoting physical wellbeing and sporting participation.
- The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
