Veritas Education are recruiting Complex Care Assistants to support children and young people with additional needs within specialist school settings across Middlesbrough. Opportunities range from flexible day-to-day supply work to long-term placements, making this an ideal role whether you're looking for flexibility or a more regular position.
You'll be supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and achieve meaningful daily successes.
The Role
- Support pupils with complex learning and communication needs
- Assist with sensory-based learning and classroom activities
- Build positive relationships and provide consistent support
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff
- Provide personal care where required
- Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

- Experience in care, support work, education, healthcare or youth work
