Veritas Education are currently seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis in secondary schools across Blackburn and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact within the classroom, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
- Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of subjects.
- Work with individual students and small groups to support learning and attainment.
- Assist students with additional learning needs where required.
- Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support behaviour management and student wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Level 2, Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working within a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
