I'm currently working with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools across Leeds who are looking for Psychology Graduates to join them as SEN Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants.
If you're considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Teaching, Child Mental Health, Speech & Language Therapy, Social Work, or SEND, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience while making a real difference to children's lives.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Working with children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence and engagement in learning
- Supporting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
What I'm looking for:
- A Psychology graduate (or related degree)
- Someone passionate about supporting children and young people
- A patient, proactive and positive individual
- Experience working with children is an advantage, but not essential
