Hours: Full Time, Term Time Only Contract: Temporary to Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP / September 2026
Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching? Are you looking to gain valuable classroom experience before undertaking a PGCE or teacher training programme?
One of our 3-form entry primary schools is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring teacher who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a thriving primary school environment.
The Role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across Key Stage 2, helping to create an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment. You will provide classroom support, deliver interventions, work with small groups and individual pupils, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

- Holds a degree (all subject specialisms considered)
- Has a genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
- Is considering teacher training or a PGCE in the future
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
