About the Role
Veritas Education is currently recruiting General Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Bradford and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for regular work, flexible teaching opportunities to fit around other commitments, or a pathway back into full-time teaching, supply teaching offers an excellent way to gain experience across different school settings while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
We have opportunities available for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and expectations
- Support students in achieving their learning objectives
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
- Is adaptable, reliable, and confident working in different schools
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
