Support, Inspire and Empower the Next GenerationVeritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of secondary schools across Blackburn from September onwards. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate considering a career in education, or someone with transferable experience working with young people, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students.
- Assisting pupils with varying learning abilities and additional needs.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with young people, ideally within a school or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
- The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- A genuine passion for education and student development.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
