Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover) Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:15pm - 4:15pm, Term Time Only Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Are you passionate about creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children beyond the school day?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Out of School Club Manager to lead a successful after-school provision for primary-aged children. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in childcare, education, playwork, or wraparound care who enjoys working with children and leading engaging activities that support their wellbeing and development.
As Club Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the provision, ensuring children enjoy a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where they can learn, play and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operation of the after-school club.
- Plan and deliver a variety of creative, active and engaging activities for primary-aged children.
- Create a warm, welcoming and child-centred environment.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
- Manage attendance records and club administration.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Support and promote inclusive practice for all children.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, playwork or wraparound care setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A caring, positive and enthusiastic approach.
- Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management and health and safety procedures.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and enriching experiences for children.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the continued development of the provision.
