A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support teaching and learning across the classroom, working closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the classroom
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Requirements
Essential:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working within a primary school setting
GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
Experience supporting pupils with SEN
Knowledge of phonics and intervention programmes
Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related subject
