About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-resourced department and inspire students to engage in physical education, promoting both physical health and teamwork in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school sports teams and clubs
- Maintain strong behaviour management and ensure student safety at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is passionate about promoting student wellbeing and physical activity
- Committed to safeguarding and supporting young people
