Job Title: KS2 Teacher (Year 3 - TBC)
Location: Morecambe, Lancashire
Salary: Paid to LCC pay scales (M1 to M6)
Contract: Full-time (5 days per week), Fixed Term
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Full academic year (2026/2027)
Overview: A welcoming and supportive primary school in Morecambe is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 for the full academic year.
The role is likely to be within Year 3 (to be confirmed) and is offered on a full-time basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and learning
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and supporting pupil development
- Ability to commit for the full academic year
