About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a motivated and adaptable Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This role is ideal for a newly qualified teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience across the curriculum while completing their ECT induction within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in your subject specialism
- Support teaching across a range of subjects where required
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds (or is on track to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recently completed or due to complete a PGCE or equivalent
- Demonstrates strong communication and classroom management skills
- Is flexible, proactive, and keen to develop professionally
- Committed to safeguarding and supporting student outcomes
