Secondary Teachers - Teesside
Pay - £165 - £260 p/day
Due to continued growth in school partnerships across Teesside, Veritas Education is experiencing increased demand for secondary teaching staff and is actively seeking qualified teachers (QTS) for a range of long-term opportunities.
We are recruiting for:
- Immediate long-term assignments
- September 2026 starts
- Full-time and part-time roles
These positions are long-term temporary, with some opportunities offering potential for permanent appointments.
Subjects in Demand
We are keen to speak with teachers across all subject areas, with particular demand for:
- Core subjects: Maths, English, Science
- Humanities: History, Geography, RE
- Wider curriculum: ICT/Computing, Design Technology, Art, PE
The Roles
- Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
- A mix of roles:
- Some requiring full planning and delivery
- Others with pre-planned lessons provided
- Opportunities within a range of schools across Middlesbrough, Stockton and Redcar
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and ability to build positive relationships
- A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
