Veritas Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming primary school in Barnoldswick, Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT looking to begin their teaching career within a supportive and nurturing Key Stage 2 environment. The role will involve teaching a Year 4 class on a full-time basis for a 12-month contract starting in September 2026.
The school is recognised for its strong community ethos, supportive leadership team and commitment to staff development. Pupils are well behaved, eager to learn and benefit from a caring and inclusive school environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Have high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Work effectively as part of a supportive team
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
