An OFSTED 'good' school in Wandsworth is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team and develop valuable skills within the education sector working amongst a mainstream classroom and dealing with SEN students. Responsibilites of a teaching assistant:
- Working with children aged 2-6 operating classes indoors and outside
- Supporting child indicated learning
- Helping children with special educational needs
- Engaging with students through 3 different sessions in the day
- Treating children with respect and kindness as a teaching assistant
Job Requirements to be a teaching assistant:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Interest in working with children (specifically with SEN)
- Experience working in childcare, informally or formally
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable for a teaching assistant:
- An honours degree (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent
