Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Twickenham Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Twickenham to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September.

Key Responsibilities
- Support students across KS3 and KS4 in accessing the curriculum
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
- Help students develop confidence, independence, and resilience
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
- A passion for supporting students with a range of needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, proactive, and committed to making a difference
- A genuine interest in education and student wellbeing
The school is particularly keen to meet candidates who are either:
- Considering a future career in education (e.g. teaching, educational psychology, SEN support), or
- From a psychology background and interested in applying their knowledge in a practical, student-centred environment
