Nursery Practitioners - Level 2 & 3
Central London
Daily Supply - 8am-6pm
£14 per hour
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners, to work on a daily supply basis in nurseries across London.
These roles are ideal for childcare professionals who are passionate about supporting early years development and enjoy working in nurturing and engaging environments. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible working opporunities to suit their availability. Roles are to begin asap, and hours are 8am-6pm.
Key Responsibilities for Daily Supply Nursery Pracitioner:
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through age‑appropriate play and activities during short‑term placements
- Provide consistent care and maintain routines in line with the nursery's policies and EYFS framework
- Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment throughout the day
- Adapt quickly to different nursery settings and work collaboratively with existing staff
- Support individual children's needs as directed, including those with SEND
- Follow instructions from room leaders or management to ensure the smooth running of the setting
- Carry out reasonable duties as required during the day to support the nursery team
Requirements:
- A relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent)
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience working in an early years or primary setting
- A friendly, proactive, and reliable approach, with a genuine passion for working with children
- The ability to adapt quickly to different nursery settings
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
