Full-Time | Immediate or September Start | £95-£110 per Day Working Across Specialist SEN Settings in Bradford
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you want to make a meaningful difference in specialist education environments across Bradford?
We are recruiting SEN Support Assistants to work across a range of SEND schools, resource provisions, and alternative education settings in the Bradford area. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, resilient, and committed to helping pupils with diverse learning needs thrive.
The Role
As an SEN Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory needs
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils access learning and develop key skills
- Assist teachers and SENCOs in delivering tailored support plans
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt your approach to meet the needs of different specialist settings
About You
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based or otherwise)
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
- Calm, patient, and able to build positive relationships
- Resilient, adaptable, and confident working in varied SEN environments
- Willing to learn and develop your skills through training and hands-on experience
- Graduates in Psychology, Education, Social Sciences, or related fields are encouraged to apply
What's On Offer
- £95-£110 per day, paid weekly
- Full-time, Monday-Friday during term time
