Start Date: ASAP
Location: Redcar Long-Term Temporary | Full-Time (5 days per week)
Pay: £100-£130 p/day
A vibrant and inclusive 11-16 mixed secondary school in Redcar is seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join their team ASAP.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning atmosphere
- Support pupils from a range of backgrounds and abilities
- Work closely with teaching staff and SLT to maintain high standards across the school
- Provide occasional pastoral support where needed
This is a full-time, long-term temporary role, perfect for someone looking for consistent experience in a secondary school setting.

- Experienced Cover Supervisors
- Graduates interested in teaching
- Sports coaches, youth workers, or anyone used to leading large groups of young people
- Individuals confident in managing behaviour and building rapport quickly
Essential Requirements
- Ability to engage and motivate secondary-aged learners
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Reliability, resilience, and a proactive attitude
