Secondary Teaching Assistants Required - Runcorn
Day‑to‑Day | Short‑Term | Long‑Term Roles Veritas Education
Veritas Education are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants and Support Staff to work within secondary schools across the Runcorn area. We are offering day‑to‑day supply, as well as short‑ and long‑term assignments, for individuals who are confident, reliable, and passionate about supporting young people in secondary education.
The Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students across KS3 and KS4 within the classroom
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Provide behavioural, academic, and pastoral support
- Assist teachers with lesson activities and classroom management
- Support students with additional needs (SEND/SEMH) where required
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have previous experience working in secondary schools
- Are confident supporting challenging behaviour
- Can adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
- Are professional, punctual, and flexible
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply)
