Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking an inspiring Nurture Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Redhill, Surrey.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them to re-engage with learning and achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching within a nurture provision
Support pupils with SEMH needs through a nurturing, structured approach
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to promote emotional wellbeing
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience working as a nurture teacher - desirable
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs - desirable
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
