Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long‑term temporary (potential to go permanent)
Are you a passionate History specialist looking to make a real impact in a school that is committed to positive change? Veritas Education is seeking an engaging and creative History Teacher to join a vibrant and diverse 11-16 mixed secondary school in Middlesbrough.
This is a long‑term temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

As a History Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Bring the curriculum to life through creative teaching and rich historical context
- Inspire students of all abilities to develop a love for History
- Contribute to the school's ongoing improvement journey
- Assess, track and monitor student progress effectively
What We're Looking For:
- A History specialist with strong subject knowledge
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3/KS4 History
- A positive, resilient teacher who thrives in a supportive but improving school environment
- Someone who can build rapport and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
