Early Years Practitioner - Wakefield (Level 2/3) Employer: Veritas Education Location: Wakefield
Are you passionate about supporting young children to learn and grow? Veritas Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly nursery team in Wakefield.
This role is open to Level 2 or Level 3 qualified practitioners, as well as candidates with relevant childcare experience who are looking to develop their career in early years.
You'll help create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play, supporting their development while working as part of a supportive nursery team.
Key Responsibilities
Support engaging play-based learning activities
Promote children's development and wellbeing
Observe and contribute to learning journeys
Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
Follow safeguarding and nursery policies
What We're Looking For
Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or relevant experience
A nurturing, positive attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding (or willingness to learn)
