Location: Redbridge, East London Job Type: Flexible Daily Supply Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Pay: Competitive daily rates
Are you an enthusiastic and confident Cover Teacher or Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in a friendly, supportive school environment? We are currently seeking reliable and adaptable individuals to work in secondary schools in Redbridge to provide daily supply cover across a range of subjects. This role is open to both full time and part time availability.
About the Role
As a Daily Supply Cover Teacher/Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
- Support the school by covering a variety of year groups and subjects
- Ensure continuity of learning in the teacher's absence
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous school-based experience (primary or secondary)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Confidence managing a classroom independently
- The ability to engage pupils and support their learning
- Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
