Year 5 Class Teacher - Maternity Cover (April Start)

Location: West Drayton, Hillingdon Pay Scale: M1-M6 (Dependent on experience) Contract: April 2026 - July 2026 Potential Extension: Full 2026-27 academic year for the right candidate

Are you a motivated and inspiring KS2 practitioner seeking a rewarding new role? We are recruiting a Year 5 Class Teacher for a maternity cover starting immediately after the Easter break, with the exciting possibility of continuing into the next academic year.

This inclusive and diverse primary school serves children aged 3-11 and is proud of its warm community ethos. The Role

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum
  • Support pupils' academic and personal development through high‑quality teaching
  • Prepare children confidently for the transition into upper KS2
