EYFS / Year 1 Teaching Assistant
Rural Lancaster
9:00am - 3:30pm
Monday to Friday, Summer Term (April to July) Potential Temp‑to‑Perm Opportunity**
We are recruiting an experienced EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive early years team in a small, rural school close to Lancaster.
This position also has potential to continue into the next academic year (temp-to-perm).
About the Role
- Supporting teaching and learning in EYFS/Year 1
- Helping deliver early phonics, play-based learning, routines and transitions
- Working in-class and delivering small group support
- Hours: 9:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
- Start: Summer term
- Temp‑to‑perm continuation possible into 2026/27
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in EYFS and/or KS1
- Minimum TA2 qualification or above
- A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to early learning
- Team player with good communication skills
- Understanding of early childhood development
