SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time Bradford Start: After February Half Term Veritas Education
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team after February half term.
We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive and confident supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, learning difficulties, and behaviour needs. You will work closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers to provide targeted support, both 1:1 and in small groups, helping students access learning and make progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEND across KS3 & KS4
- Providing 1:1 and small group interventions
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the SENCO and wider pastoral team
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or transferable settings)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
