Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a well‑established secondary school in the Wakefield area, seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their team after the February Half Term break.
The school is committed to providing high‑quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment. They are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across the Humanities department-particularly Geography, History, or Religious Studies-at KS3 and KS4.
The Role
- Deliver well‑planned and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach Humanities subjects to KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Support pupils of varying abilities, ensuring progress for all
- Contribute to the wider school community and department
- Maintain high professional standards in line with DfE expectations
The Ideal Candidate
- UK‑qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities disciplines
- Experience teaching in secondary schools
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
