Cover Supervisor Location: St Albans Contract Type: Full-Time Salary: £140 - £160 per day (Depending on Experience)
Are you passionate about supporting learning and making a real difference to young people's education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in St Albans. The successful candidate will predominantly cover across KS3 & KS4 Science, ensuring high standards of behaviour, engagement and continuity of learning in the classroom.

The Role
As Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities, primarily in Science for KS3 and KS4.
- Supervise classes in the absence of teachers, maintaining excellent behaviour for learning.
- Support pupils to engage fully in their learning and follow school routines.
- Provide timely feedback to subject teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
- Contribute to the positive and inclusive culture of the school.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in an SEN or SEMH school.
- Is confident supervising Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills and a calm, positive approach.
- Is reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting every pupil's success.
