Location: Southwark, South East London Position: EYFS Class Teacher Start Date: December 2025 Pay: £3,500 - £4,500 per month
Veritas Education is delighted to be working with a warm, community-centred primary school in Southwark to recruit a passionate and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher to join their team from December 2025.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is highly regarded for its inclusive ethos, engaging curriculum, and strong commitment to supporting children's development during their crucial early years. The successful candidate will take responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering high-quality, play-based and structured learning experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher who enjoys creating engaging early years provision, building strong relationships with children and families, and contributing positively to a supportive school community.
The Ideal EYFS Teacher Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching within EYFS (desirable, though ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply)
A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework, early learning goals, and assessment practices
Main Responsibilities Include:
Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all children feel supported
Observing, assessing, and tracking children's progress to inform next steps in learning
